Entries are now welcome for the South Florida Paralegal Association’s 2009/2010 Paralegal Education Scholarship Competition!
Please submit a 1,000-1,500-word (maximum) typed essay comparing the respective positions of the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc. versus the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. on paralegal regulation.
All entries for the Scholarship Competition should be clearly marked with the entrant’s name, mailing address, e-mail address, and a contact telephone number. Please also indicate in which school you are enrolled, and at what level. The competition is open to any student currently enrolled in an accredited paralegal/legal assistant education program in South Florida.

Scholarships will be presented at SFPA’s Annual Elections Meeting on March 23, 2010, which will be held at Gordon Biersch, 1201 Brickell Avenue, Miami, FL from 6-8:00 p.m. Please register for the Annual Meeting on the Events web page to attend. Scholarship contestants may attend the Annual Meeting at no charge if they are not SFPA members.
