Entries are now welcome for the South Florida Paralegal Association’s 2012 Paralegal Education Scholarship Competition! Please forward this announcement to your favorite paralegal studies student. The competition is open to any student currently enrolled in an accredited paralegal education program in South Florida.
Please submit a 1,000-1,500-word (maximum) typed memorandum to your attorney, based on the provided scenario, citing Florida Statutes regarding minimum and maximum sentencing for vehicular homicide. Include additional research and list any defenses that may be raised to defend your new client.
All entries for the Scholarship Competition should be clearly marked with the entrant’s name, mailing address, e-mail address, and a contact telephone number. Please also indicate in which school you are enrolled, and at what level. The competition is open to any student currently enrolled in an accredited paralegal/legal assistant education program in South Florida.
